Us lesser apes–gibbons if you will–are of a smaller variety of apes. We have longer arms, great for swinging; denser hair, to better keep our body temperature; and a unique
throat sac, which amplifies our beautiful voices. With about 20 different species, we have many more members to our family than the great apes.
