The Old World Monkeys can be found in parts of Africa and Asia, and are more likely to be terrestrial. They have opposable thumbs, but their tails are not prehensile and are mainly used for balance. Their faces feature close together, downward facing nostrils that look different from the New World Monkeys’. Humans also share a closer genetic relation to these Old World species.
