Blades

Like the name says, this style of Rollerskates the wheels are in the shape of a blade. They are a straight vertical line down the boots. They were invented in the early 80s b Scott and Brennan Olson who redesigned the Rollerskates for ground Hockey training. The style of the blades are a clear inspiration from ice skates, making them function similarly. Rollerblades are mostly used for speed and fast sports like roller racing, they are also great for a variety of terrains like bumpy streets and rocky areas.
