Quads

Quads are the short name for the type of skates with 2 wheels on the front and back of the boot. They are the most popular type of skate, being known as also the general Roller Skate. These type of skates are very beginner friendly, as the style of the skates are great for balance and learning how to skate. Plus, in roller rinks they basically exclusively give out Quad Skates, unless asked otherwise. Quads are mainly used for roller derby, dance/artstic, and casual skating. They also have a toe breaks that makes breaking a lot less impactful.
