ASPECT WARRIORS

Aspect Warriors are Asuryani on the Path of the Warrior who have become specialized in their specific style of battle, or “aspect.” When an Asuryani follows on the calling of this Path, they join an Aspect Shrine, a small group of warriors who train themselves under some attribute of the Aeldari god of war and murder, Kaela Mensha Khaine. Each and every Craftworld maintains some Aspect Shrines, with some Craftworlds holding Aspect Shrines unique to that Craftworld. Individual Aspect Shrines are led by Exarchs, an Asuryani who has fallen to the curse of the inability to leave the Path of the Warrior. They are perfect examples of their Aspect. Additionally, the founding member of an Aspect is known as a Phoenix Lord -- These warriors are great heroes of legend to the Asuryani, who often only arrive in times of great need.

A particularly notable Aspect Shrine are the Warp Spiders. These Asuryani equip themselves with Jump Generators which allow them to jump into and out of the Warp, avoiding any obstacles in their path. However, this process is extremely dangerous, in that it attracts Daemonic forces, which could down a Warp Spider at any moment. They are also equipped with Death Spinners, a weapon which fires nets of monomolecular threads which slice foes into microscopic, even chunks upon impact. The Phoenix Lord of the Warp Spiders is Lhykis, the Whispering Web.
