DRUKHARI

The Drukhari are what could be considered "Dark Kin" to the rest of the Aeldari. While other groups of Aeldari have found ways to combat the hedonism that led to the Fall, the Drukhari instead revel in what caused it in the first place. These Aeldari are particularly sadistic, enjoying partaking in torture, piracy, and enslavement of other species. They compose raiding parties which disappear nearly as fast as they arrive, taking anyone and anything they can get their hands on in the process. They are cruel and unjust people -- many Aeldari even look at them with disgust. Drukhari society is broken up into 3 main groups: Kabals, Wych Cults, and Haemonculi Covens. Together, these groups make a truly disturbing and relentless evil.

Rather than occupying several planets or vessels across the stars, Drukhari are unique in which they almost all derive from Commorragh, a labrythine city located within the depths of the Webway, a section of the Warp the Aeldari have managed to utilize mainly for transportation. Naturally, the supreme overlord of the Drukhari resides in Commoragh -- Asdrubael Vect. Vect has claimed to have witnessed the Fall with his own eyes, making him over 10,000 years old, though this is only a claim. Through hellish conditions, Vect began as a lowly slave in Commoragh, eventually reaching his position of supreme overlord through deception, with and cruelty. He is an incredibly evil and sadistic person who enjoys watching the suffering of others. He is not to be trifled with.
