KABALS

Kabals are one of the 3 self-governing organizations within the Drukhari, often known as the primary group within Drukhari society. In addition to being self-governing, Kabals are socio-economic paramilitary organizations, being composed of warriors who also serve as Drukhari citizens. Kabals are led by Archons, who have no real codes or laws that restrict their actions, save for the "Eye for an Eye" philosophy generally shared by Drukhari as a whole. Because of this, it is as likely for Kabals to cooperate as it is for them to declare war on one another, possibly even for the same reasons.

When Asdrubael Vect took control of Commorragh, it was these Kabals that arose to replace the old aristocracy within the city. The system ensured that power would no longer be handed down, but instead taken forcefully by those who dare to do so. Many of the noble families that once ruled over Commorragh before Vect became Kabals, never forgiving him for his actions. Within these Kabals, there is a hierarchy, with warriors being at the lower areas and Archons being at the top, but killing anyone within a Kabal is considered a hostile action against the entire Kabal.
