There are many different kinds of cubes! Technically, they're called puzzles, but since they're all treated like typical cubes, they get called as such for simplicity. When a cube is called a 3x3 or 2x2, it's just decribing how many cubes are on each side.
- 4x4:Like a normal Rubik’s cube, but slightly bigger, and there are no definate cores, forming the cores to their corresponding parallels is part of the process of solving when using the white-cross method.
- 5x5:The 5x5 is more like a 3x3 because both cubes have definite cores, meaning the centers don't move while rotating the cube.
- 5x5:The 5x5 is more like a 3x3 because both cubes have definite cores, meaning the centers don't move while rotating the cube.
- 2x2:Much smaller, and to generally solve the cube is the same method as solving 3x3 beginner’s method corners.
- The Pyraminx:Still a Rubik’s Cube, but it’s a pyramid. Personally, I never solved a Pyraminx, but from my information, it’s very similar to the beginner’s method and solving layer by layer.
- The MegaminxA dodecahedron-shaped (12 faces) puzzle, with extra algorithms letters dr and dr’.
